A leading group in the textile floor-covering industry
Mc Three Group consists of three companies, all
of them active in the textile floorcovering industry. The Group is
privately owned by two Belgian families, Lieven Santens and Lucien
Vanwynsberghe. The first company of the Group, Orian Rugs, was created in
Anderson, South Carolina (USA), in 1979. Subsequently the owners of
Orian also took over two other existing companies: Mc Three Carpets
in Waregem, Belgium in 1993 and Bajong
Carpets in Deerlijk, Belgium, in 2000.
Today the Group has a total turnover of more
than €107 mio /
USD142 mio (2009).
Our customers / our markets
The main customer base consists of retail groups in diverse
market segments such as home improvement stores, department stores,
specialized floor covering chains, mail order/ catalogue
businesses, furniture and decoration stores, supermarket chains or
club stores.
Whereas three quarters of the output is sold in Europe and in North
America, another 25% of the output is sold almost everywhere in the
world through our local networks of agents and distributors.
Woven rugs and carpets
While Bajong Carpets manufactures tufted
carpets, both Orian and Mc Three make woven rugs
and carpets. Initially, the two latter companies were only
involved in weaving, while other production activities were
outsourced.
Today, and since many years ago, both Orian and Mc Three are
fully integrated entities: in both plants, production starts with
the manufacturing of our own colour batches and the extrusion of
the polypropylene yarn. The subsequent processes of yarn treatment,
weaving, rug finishing and packing all occur in-house in modern,
state-of-the art production facilities.
In order to guarantee our customers an impeccable service, both
plants also possess modern warehousing facilities. These enable us
to produce on stock the most regular SKU's and to cope with
seasonal peaks in demand.
Our continuous innovation
Orian Rugs, Bajong Carpets and Mc Three Carpets all stand for
continuous innovation. Not only do we constantly
monitor and invest in the very latest production technologies in
order to offer our customers the newest products in terms of yarn
quality, "look" and "feel" of the products, or weaving structure.
Our in-house colour and design teams also make sure our products
respond to the latest fashion trends.
